Here the film helps and speeds us to go back in 1942, North Atlantic. Lieutenant Commander Ernest Krause portraited by Tom Hanks tells the story of a convoy of thirty-seven allied ships, during the initial joining of the United States in World War II. Which were back then, brought down by German U-boats, and our adherent comes forward and lead his men to safety rather than making them face danger and killings.
”Greyhound” is referred and codenamed after the USS Keeling which was a dangerous and a destroyer ship
US Navy Mahan-class destroyer codenamed was chosen by the director as the title of this fictional film.
Greyhound is far more expected as Hanks wants a good WWII story could be. With the encouraging moto to not give up at the time of tired out situations, even when they’re brought to the point of it. The message is simple but important is that it is relevant for anyone who’s just trying to make it out of 2020 alive.
ANY OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SEQUEL?
No there is no official announcement about the sequel yet.
But it is said that season 2 will be a shot remake of the first film but Tom Hank will be replaced by Don Cheadle.
Sony delayed Greyhound than a year from its original release date which was in March 2019 before giving it to Apple in the COVID-19 pandemic. Though it is not a strong masterpiece to stand in awards it is also too great documentary drama thriller. Under the circumstances, though, it’s good enough to rank it a watch if you already have an Apple TV+ subscription.
