Confirmed! Release Date On Netflix?

One of the well known American teenage series that has been recently released, Never Have I Ever is soon coming up with its second season on Netflix. It has been created by Lang Fisher and Mindy Kaling, which first premiered on 27th April 2020. The series is highly based on the teenage life of Kaling, who spent most of her initial years in Boston.

It has been hugely appreciated for its expression of how the South Asian community places itself in Hollywood. The main aim of the series is to break the typical stereotypes that have prevailed all these years.

The story focuses on Devi Vishwakarma, a fifteen-year-old girl who is struggling through her freshman year after she lost her father. She is unable to deal with her grief and so keeps on finding new ways to become more popular among her friends and improve her impression in the eyes of her longtime crush.

Is There A Release Date For Season 2?

There is no official confirmation regarding the release date of Season 2. It was renewed on the 1st of July 2020. The first season was released in April 2020, so it can be speculated that Season 2 shall be dropping sometime in summer 2021. But due to the outbreak of COVID-19, it seems that production shall take some time to get processed.

For the past few months, all releases and productions were put on hold. Although the lockdown has been lifted, it is still not safe for outdoor activities. So it is safe to say that the production shall not be starting soon. There is no word from Netflix as well regarding the release date.

If the production starts later this year, then Season 2 shall be released by mid-2021. Unless anything is being announced by the sources directly, there is no surety. We hope to get further updates soon until then, stay tuned!
