Famous American Rapper Kanye West announced the big news on Saturday. Kanye West is running for President. He is running for United States President Election 2020. West has already received support from Tech Billionaire Elon Musk.

The announcement about West running for Presidency had declared on the American Independence Day. The United States President Election 2020 is scheduled for November this year.

West announced the news on Twitter, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for President of the United States,” adding an American Flag emoji. With the hashtag “#2020VISION,”.

Tech Billionaire, Founder of SpaceX, Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, has come forward in support of West. I am replying on West tweet. Expanding his support, “You have my full support!”.

Still, it’s not clear whether he was serious. Or is this a publicity stunt for himself or something else. According to the reports, the West hasn’t filled forms with the Federal Election Commission. If he is serious, he got a long way to run. First, He needs to qualify for ballot access across 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The announcement tweet got instant viral. It obtained 100,000 retweets in an hour. “Kanye” quickly became the number one trending term. Kanye West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, is popular too. And is known from TV shows “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” Kim is supporting her husband for President Election.
