Kristian Alfonso Leaves Show After Three Decades!



The Days of Our Life star Kristian Alfonso exit from the show after 37 years of being Hope in the show. Kristian Alfonso ends three-decade ‘Days of Our Lives’ run, won’t return when production resumes.

NBC soap opera “Days of Our Lives” will go on an indefinite hiatus after releasing the entire cast from their contracts. Kristian Alfonso, who was cast in NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” for more than three decagons, is leaving the long-running show.


Alfonso, who united with the show as the main character ” Hope Williams Brady”  in 1983, released an official statement saying she won’t come back when the show starts it’s filming back. The show filming was stopped due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which affects all the entertainment world. She played the character of Hope for over 37 years.

Alfonso said in the statement that she feels blessed and honored to come into viewers’ homes on their television for over three decagons. She said that it is now time for her to leave the show and write her next chapter. She will not return in her long run show “Days Of Our Life” when the show resumes production in September,” Alfonso said in her statement. She has already filmed her last episode a few months ago.”

NBC revived “Days Of Our Life” for its 56th season in January after a delay in last year when the future of the show was unclear. At one point, the show went on lapse, and cast members of the show were released from their contracts.

The fame of Alfonso’s character goes beyond “Days Of Our Life” as she played the role of Hope in Season 6 episode of popular series “Friends.”


Alfonso was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 and she won four Soap Opera Digest awards during her run as Hope.
