“Cobra Kai” takes place after the All Valley Karate Championship of 1984. It is the sequel of the original Karate Kid movies starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who returned to their classic roles of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, respectively.

The series has been a massive hit till now. With its two seasons, the series has gained lots of love from its fans. And now, people are enthusiastically waiting for the release of Cobra Kai season 3.

Cobra Kai Season 3 will be released on a new platform

The first two seasons of Cobra Kai have been released on the YouTube Premium platform. But, even after the huge success of the show, recently the company decided not to air more Cobra Kai seasons. This was because they decided not to stream any fictional series from now.

This made Sony start looking for a new platform for the sequel series of Karate Kid. It was rumored that both Netflix and Hulu might be interested in acquiring the series, but finally the streaming giant Netflix got the exclusive rights to stream Cobra Kai season 3.

In addition to Cobra Kai season 3, Netflix has also acquired broadcast rights for the first two seasons and the next to come.

As per the sources, all the major cast from the previous season of Cobra kai will return in the third season. This will include:

Cobra Kai Season 3: Release Date

“Cobra Kai” season 3 has already been completed and is just waiting to be released. However, the release date of the series is still a mystery, since neither Netflix nor Sony has announced its release. But there are hopes that the announcement will be made soon.
