Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s in-form Manchester United side visit relegation strugglers Aston Villa on Thursday night.

Champions League-chasing Utd are in great form, unbeaten in their last 16 games and with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood all scoring for fun.

Man Utd have won their last three league games by three clear goals – 3-0 wins over Sheffield United and Brighton were followed up with a 5-2 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Villa meanwhile are 19th in the table, picking up two points from their first five post-lockdown matches.

Odds

It’s obvious now that the only thing holding Manchester United back under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was the Old Trafford crowd!

United have been on fire since the return – home and away – and have fully earned prohibitive odds of 1/3 to win at an empty Villa Park.

The 3-0 correct score at 7/1 with thepools.com looks tempting.

Villa have conceded three or more goals on nine occasions in the Premier League this season.

Manchester United have scored three or more in seven of their last 11 in all competitions, including each of their last three league matches.

And four of Man Utd’s last 11 matches have ended in 3-0 victories.

If you need a first scorer tip, Mason Greenwood has scored five goals in his last six Premier League starts for Manchester United, averaging a goal every 86 minutes this season.
