The mid-season legal drama series “For Life’s” second season has been ordered by ABC. The show’s creator, Hank Steinberg, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, one of Sony Pictures TV and ABC Studios, was one of two Freshman series left in the bubble by ABC, which did its bulk renewal and cancellation last month.

The green light was given by ABC on Monday, June 16 for the second season of Life. Unfortunately, the channel has yet to confirm an official release date.
The renewal comes exactly one month after the series ended on ABC. The first season premiered in February, so fans of the legal drama can expect the second season to air in early 2021.
Unfortunately, the current coronavirus pandemic may face a delay in filming the next series, which could delay the release date of the second season. Confirming the news, producer Curtis Jackson said: “Life was renewed for the second season by ABC!

The first series was based on the story of Isaac Wright Jr., who was wrongfully convicted in 1991 on a drug charge.
“For Life” follows the story of Aaron Wallace (played by Nicholas Pinnock), who becomes a lawyer behind bars, litigating for other prisoners while he did not.
The For Life season ended on a big rock, with Aaron once again having a chance to be judged.
The series highlights the challenges and demerits of the American legal and criminal system.
